West Fork's Britta Becker Crowned Queen of Bandfest

     West Fork's Britta Becker was crowned queen of the Mason City Band Festival on Saturday, May 23.

     After riding through the annual parade, followed by the West Fork Marching Band, Becker lined up on stage with her fellow band royalty from neighboring districts. Out of about a dozen participants, Becker was crowned Bandfest Queen alongside King Kelby Schultz from Central Springs.

     "I'm really excited to represent West Fork and represent North Iowa Band Festival," said Becker after being crowned. "Bandfest is awesome and I'm excited to be the 2015 North Iowa Bandfest Queen."
