West Fork takes non-conference tilt

SHEFFIELD – Lukas Wogen and Mitchell Halloran each hit two-run homers to help lift West Fork to a non-conference baseball win over Clarion-Goldfield-Dows on Thursday, May 30 at home.

Halloran got the Warhawks started in the first inning in which coach Lance Thompson’s team took a 3-0 lead and never trailed against the Cowboys.

“It was nice to see tonight we finally got some of the bats going, we’ve been struggling with that, we’ve been monkeying with our lineup a little bit, adjusting it, putting people in different spots, so tonight saw some hard-hit balls which is a good sight to see,” Thompson said. “Hopefully, that will continue..."
