West Fork Board of Education approves new hires and resignations

The West Fork Board of Education approved multiple contracts for recent hires and other positions within the district during the Aug. 21 meeting. The board approved a contract for new High School Administrative Assistant Denise Shreve, who previously worked as a building secretary at Greene Elementary School before it was relocated to Allison.

“We’re really happy to bring her experience and level of professionalism into our district,” West Fork Superintendent Darrin Strike said.

The board also approved contracts for new paraeducators Taylor Melver and Samantha Allen, who will both be working at the Rockwell campus. Strike said that he was excited for Melver to join the staff, as she worked for the district in the past and did a nice job. He added that Allen, a West Fork graduate, has the qualities to become “a fine paraeducator.”
