West Fork 4x1 takes aim at prestigious Drake Relays

 

HAMPTON – Not only did the West Fork girls track team come to Hampton and win Friday night, it set school marks, meet marks and its 4x100 relay has an outside chance of qualifying for the Drake Relays.

Not a bad feat in all for coach Jill Rowe’s Warhawks, who scored 108 points for the Lady Bulldog Classic team victory.

The Warhawks scored 11 top-three finishes, including four titles at the meet. Lindsey Peterson had a hand in a new meet record – the shuttle hurdle relay along with Jordan Jackson, Courtney Larson and Taylor Logan – and won the 100 hurdles, as well as ran legs on the third-place finishing 4x400 and the runner-up 4x100.
