West Fork 4-H, FFA forge on to state fair

West Fork 4-H and FFA exhibitors are advancing to the Iowa State Fair following their success at the North Iowa Fair July 8 through 12.

     Britta Becker of Swaledale will bring her three presentations in the classes of 4-H communication; food and nutrition; and clothing, fashion, sewing and needle arts. For Animals/Ag and Natural Resources, Cheyla Weaver of Rockwell will present her work. Cail Weaver of Dougherty will exhibit his science, engineering and technology project. Dougherty’s McKenna Weaver will display her creative arts entry, and Rockwell’s Collin Witte will share his photography with fairgoers.

     Cailee Henning, of Meservey, won the 4-H $15 Clothing Challenge, by putting together an outfit of secondhand clothes purchased with just $15.
