WEST FORK ‘JUMP FOR HEART’ FUNDRAISER JUMPS GOAL

The jump ropes flew, and the goals shattered on Friday, March 29th, at the “Jump for Heart” fundraiser, held from 3:30 – 4:30 at the West Fork CSD Rockwell campus. Teachers, staff and students planned and ran the event, on their own time, with fifty-four student jumpers in grades two through five securing pledges. Nine teams jumped rope nonstop for an hour, while third grade coordinator Mary Schulz announced prize winners, and Principal Tracy Peterson joined the jumpers.

Beth Martinek, Janan Wegner, Angie Twedt, and Kristin Wedmore kept watchful eyes and helped served snacks, courtesy of Teri Petersen and the PTO.
