Warhawks reach 1A district final
MASON CITY – An efficient night on the mound for Dawson Zeitler helped West Fork’s baseball team blank North Butler, 4-0, to reach the Class 1A District 4 final at Mason City Newman field on Thursday, July 13.
Zeitler struck out nine, walked three and gave up four hits – three of which were all in the same inning – but still held the Bearcats scoreless to advance to a Saturday, July 15 meeting with the second-ranked Knights.
