Warhawks drop offensive-packed game

SHEFFIELD – Holding home run balls one and two from that night’s game, Lauren Trewin would have liked to grabbed the win, as well.

But 12 Algona Garrigan hits combined with five West Fork errors led to a 10-8 Golden Bears’ win against the Warhawks on Wednesday, June 13.

“This is my first one this season,” she said, holding out one in her right hand before gesturing to her left, “and my second one this season, so it was nice to get them under my belt and hopefully just keep pushing on from here.”
