Warhawks continue slide

SHEFFIELD – When West Fork’s volleyball team started the season, it was off to a hot start, winning seven of its first nine matches.

However, a slew of injuries has sent the Warhawks reeling as they notched their sixth loss in a row in a home sweep by Central Springs.

It was a slow start for coach Abbee Dickman’s team in the first set that sent her and her team to the locker room where she had a few things to say, following that, West Fork played much better but it wasn’t enough to avoid the 25-12, 25-22, 27-25 loss to the Panthers.

“We needed to move our feet and needed to block, we just weren’t moving,” Dickman said of the discussion in private...
