Viola ‘Vi’ Kappen, 87, of Sheffield, died Saturday, April 16, 2016, at the IOOF Home in Mason City. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 20 at the West Fork United Methodist Church in rural Sheffield, with Rev. Sandy Gobeli presiding. Interment was at Hillside Cemetery in Sheffield. Visitation was held from 5 – 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 19 at Retz Funeral Home in Sheffield.
