Thornton moving forward with water meter replacement

The Thornton City Council held their regular meeting on Monday, November 5 at City Hall.

At the meeting the council continued their discussion about how to handle the vacant Main Street properties previously owned by the now deceased Donald Pittman. Efforts to hold the new legal owners responsible for the property’s ongoing expenses have not yielded results so instead the monthly bills on the property will be assessed to the taxes in the event another buyer comes along.
