Thornton has pizza party, sweets on Valentines Day
Valentines Day was extra sweet for members of the Thornton Public Library’s After School Program.
On the holiday a dozen kids got a pizza party at the library, with sweets, snacks and games to accompany the pies.
There were goody bags fi lled with sweet treats, too much pizza for them to eat, and a few fun holiday themed games for the kids that they could participate in—or not.
“We let the kids drive what this program is,” said Deb Helm, the program director. “If they want to participate in games, or just hang out, it is up to them.”
