Thornton enters into Utility Warranty Program

The Thornton City Council held their regular meeting on Monday, October 6 at City Hall.

At the meeting, the council resumed discussion about a request from Utility Service Providers, who have asked permission to use the city’s letterhead as part of a promotional campaign for their warranty service. The request was made at a previous meeting, and was tabled so that the city could investigate the proposal.

The program offers warranty service for water and sewer lines, covering future repairs in exchange for a monthly payment. The City of Sheffield uses the program and relayed no complaints to the Thornton council.
