Swaledale Buys Meservey's Chlorine Pump

The Swaledale City Council met for their regular meeting on Monday, April 7.

     Public Works Director Greg Meier reported that the chlorine pump is not functioning well and that Meservey has a pump available. The council approved the purchase of the pump for $400.

     In library business, it was noted that the board of trustees needs a non-resident to serve on the board. The library is also accepting applications for a library assistant to work 6 hours per week.

     A building permit for Frank Tracy to build a new house at 306 Douglas St. was approved by the council, along with a resolution that will abate the first $75,000 of the value on the house for the first five years.
