Swaldale fundraises for birthday

     Swaldale is gearing up for their quasquicentennial. The town will turn the big 125 in March of 2017. 

     To help fund the celebration, there will be fundraising opportunities throughout the year.  They have already started with the 15th annual KGLO Tractor Ride that rolled through Swaledale and Sheffield on June 13. 

            They sold treats to the riders and everyone who came out for to watch the tractors cruise by. According to the town’s facebook page, they raised over $200 that will go to their 125th anniversary celebration.  Keep an eye out for other fundraisers throughout the summer and rest of the year.
