Sukup Safe T Home® will be built prior to game

Sukup Manufacturing Co. is thrilled to announce that a team will once again build a Sukup Safe T Home® at the annual Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk™ Series football game in Ames. The “Game Day Build” will take place immediately south of Reiman Plaza, located south of the Sukup Endzone Club, on Saturday, Sept. 14.

The Build will begin at 11a.m. Former professional athletes Tim Dwight, Sage Rosenfels and Dallas Clark, as well as former Cyclone basketball player Lyndsey Fennelly, will lead the construction team. The team will also include former student athletes from both the Hawkeyes and Cyclones: Stacy Frese, Kyven Gadson, Jess Settles, Bret Culbertson, Georges Niang, Chad Greenway, Jack Whitver, Bret Culbertson, Jeff Woody, and more. Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg will also participate.

The Sukup Safe T Home® is a hurricane- proof structure the company created from a modified grain bin. The home is hurricane-, earthquake-, fire-, termite-, and machete-proof, and can be constructed in six hours.
