St. Nick visits Thornton

Santa Claus came to Thornton on Saturday, December 9 as the community gathered in the Thornton Fire Station for the annual Christmas gift drawing.

Puzzles, toys, gift cards, and more were up for grabs as Santa Claus distributed gifts for kids and adults alike. With dozens of items donated by the community, every kid got to go home with something.

“I think it was a great day,” said Mike Jensen, who helped Santa Claus with the drawing. “A great group of people made it happen. There was a lot of good community support.”
