Sheffield Public Library reading program to start

     The Sheffield Public Library is launching its annual summer reading program for 2015 with registration and an open house kickoff. Registration began May 26and ends June 6.

     Readers of all ages will explore all things super hero this summer as the “Every Hero has a Story” program gets underway. Activities will include creating a super hero identity, training super hero powers, community scavenger hunts, zoo visits and much more. 

     June 4kicks off the reading program with an open house from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be special activities, crafts, treats and special guests throughout the day as the library celebrates community heroes. Families are welcome to stop in and enjoy what the library is offering on that day. A community-wide Super Hero Scavenger hunt begins on Monday, June 1, so stop in and grab your hunt and save the Super Heroes!
