Sheffield gets new city clerk
The City of Sheffield has a new full time city clerk. Katy Flint of Hampton has taken the job, following the departure of former clerk, Amanda Dannen.
Flint, a Hampton native, was the chief sales officer for Cell Tech when she decided it was time to try something new.
“It’s something different. A new challenge,” said Flint. After sitting in on her very first city council meeting, Flint officially started work last Thursday.
Flint is replacing Amanda Dannen, who resigned from the position six weeks ago. Since then, Valerie Borseth has been holding down the fort.
