Rockwell Plans For New Tax Abatement Program and Water Rate Increase

The Rockwell City Council held a public hearing to discuss a new tax abatement plan during their regular meeting on Wednesday, November 19.

     Chris Diggins of NIACOG was present at the meeting to explain to visiting residents the details about Rockwell's updated Urban Revitalization Plan.

     "Basically you're abating the increased value of property," said Diggins. "The whole idea is to create an incentive for people to renovate their properties."
