Rockwell fire department hosts open house

It was a good day to go out for lunch as the Rockwell Fire Department hosted a fall open house on Saturday, October 13.

Firefighters got up bright and early to get everything ready, serving up plump hotdogs, savory chili, and hardy chicken noodle soup for lunch along with potato chips donated by Bruce Baxter from Old Dutch and coffee donated by Sacred Heart Church.

“So far it’s a good turnout,” said Fire Chief Mark Lowe as the lunchtime crowd rolled in.
