Rockwell enjoys National Night Out
Rockwell came together on Tuesday, August 6 for the second annual National Night Out.
"It went pretty smooth," said Police Chief Rick Whitney, who spearheaded the organization of the event. "Kids were wore out and everybody got fed."
The National Night Out is a nationwide event designed to build a relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Chief Whitney kicked off Rockwell's first time participating in the event last year and it was enough of a success that it's continued this year.
