Rockwell Council Privately Deals With Employee Issue

The Rockwell City Council went into a lengthy closed session to discuss an employee matter during their regular meeting on Wednesday, June 17. After nearly 45 minutes of discussion, the council opened back up for their regular meeting with no further action taken.

     Instead, Mayor William Sheldon noted that the city has entered into an agreement with MidAmerican Energy to phase out their current street lights in favor of new LED lights over the next ten years at no cost to the city.

     "We'll look forward to brighter streets," said council member Mike Flatness.
