Rockwell City Council highlights

     The Rockwell City Council held their second regular meeting of February and here are the highlights from the unapproved minutes:

     RAGBRAI wants Rockwell to be a pass through town during this year’s bike trek across Iowa. The motion to approve the pass through was set forth by Councilman Brian Koob and was carried unanimously. Public Works Director Jay Siefken and City Clerk Lorna Weier will work to form a committee to get things going.

     Tom Hensley, Public Works employee advised the Council that the bid for gutters on the library from Seamless Gutters was good. After discussion, a motion was unanimously approved to have Seamless Gutters put new gutters on the library at a cost of $1,148.
