Restored furniture shop opens in Swaledale

     A new business has opened its doors in Swaledale.

     Furniture, Fun, and More is a new shop started by Karen and Rusty Seidel to sell restored furniture. The items in the shop’s inventory have been personally restored by Karen Seidel, who is turning her hobby into a small business.

     “I started just doing pieces of furniture at home and enjoyed it,” said Karen Seidel. “I needed an outlet for it, so we found this empty lot and put up a building.”

     “Bringing new life to old furniture is our motto,” said Rusty Seidel.

     Seidel’s interest in furniture restoration started out small, inspired by a practical need.
