Sheffield Community Club and Betterment Foundation come together to host People in the Park

 

     Sheffield City Park was packed with party-goers Saturday as the town and West Fork district gathered for the annual People in the Park celebration.

     “It’s fun talking to everybody and seeing everyone,” said Jerry Dixon of Thornton. “It’s a good time.”

     Saturday’s activities kicked off with an omelet breakfast sponsored by the library foundation in the West Fork lunchroom.

     Residents and visitors made their way through the many garage sales that went on that morning. At 10:30 a.m., a Warhawk pride-themed parade of floats, classic cars, tractors, fire trucks, horses, roller skaters and more came through town.
