Northey Visits Sukups

     Iowa's Secretary of Agriculture, Bill Northey, visited Sukup Manufacturing on Friday as part of his annual tour of Iowa's counties.

     "This is such a great business," said Northey. "It's always good to get caught up."

     Sukup Manufacturing's president, Charles Sukup, led Northey on a personal tour of the agricultural manufacturing company, introducing the Secretary of Agriculture to many of the businesses' employees.

     "We're pleased to have him here," said Sukup. "Bill Northey is such a great advocate for agriculture in Iowa."

            Sukup and Northey reminisced about a trip to Istanbul, Turkey they took last year as part of a delegation of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
