New Police Chief for Sheffield

22-year-old ready for the job

After more than 20 years the town of Sheffield has a new Chief of Police. On July 11, the Sheffield City Council approved the appointment of Deputy Sam Cain as new Chief of Police.

Cain, 22, is no newcomer to the area; he is a local product that graduated from West Fork in 2011. He has worked on the Sheffield police force for two years now, having been the only one to apply for the deputy position at the time.
