Membership rates for new Wellness Center causes contention

West Fork Board of Education members disagree about rates

The proposed annual membership rates for the new Wellness Center in Sheffield created friction between West Fork Board of Education members at their regular meeting on July 18.

The Wellness Center operations committee compiled a list of membership rates that was presented to the Board with mixed reactions.

The Wellness Center is scheduled to open in August for the start of the school year for students. The general public will have access on October 1.

The most contentious part of the membership fees was the proposed 10 percent discount to all West Fork and Sukup employees.
