Local ISP Explains Net Neutrality
Over the past few weeks the debate over Net Neutrality has risen again, thanks to a strongly worded endorsement from President Barack Obama.
Net Neutrality is the idea that the data that travels through the various networks that make up the Internet is treated equally, keeping telecom companies from discriminating against one website or giving priority to another.
Official FCC rules regarding Net Neutrality were established in 2010 when a court battle between the FCC and Comcast determined that the guidelines previously established in 2005 were not enforceable.
