H-D girls win over West Fork without Prantner

SHEFFIELD – If the 3A No. 7 Hampton-Dumont girls’ basketball team is going to go a few weeks without guard Jordan Prantner, the Bulldogs will have to do a lot of what it did against a good West Fork team.

The Bulldogs clamped down on a good shooting Warhawk team to post a 47-29 win at Sheffield during the sixth annual Coaches vs. Cancer game on Saturday, Jan. 24.

“Jordan is out for a few weeks now due to her hip injury,” H-D head coach Chad Johnson explained. “We’ll have to get by without her, but I felt we really had some kids step up. Mallory Wohlford, for two games in a row now has really shot the ball well for us, but I thought the effort by all of the girls was just outstanding.”
