Franklin County Emergency Management commission ends sharing agreement

The Franklin County Emergency Management Commission on Monday moved to end talks of a sharing agreement of the emergency management coordinator with Hardin County.

Late year, the two counties entered conversations to form a contract that would allow Franklin County Emergency Management Coordinator Thomas Craighton to work part time in the same capacity in Hardin County as Hardin County considered what to do with its position.

Craighton had been providing help to Hardin County since the county’s former emergency management coordinator left in July.
