Food, fun and family: Sheffield’s People in the Park was a hit

     The annual People in the Park celebration was held in Sheffield over the weekend, with this being the first year it was free of charge to attend.

     The weekend started rough on Friday with thunderstorms throughout the day. Yet Saturday the rain held off for the most part and Sheffield residents and members of the surrounding communities were able to get outside and enjoy a fun day with the family. There was a great turnout for the event, which might have been expected, as there was no charge to get in this year.

     There were events throughout the day for all ages in Sheffield.
