Local youngsters couldn’t be stopped by the gusting winds and knee-deep snow piles at the Rockwell and Swaledale Easter Egg Hunts this year.

Children flocked to Zeidler Park in Rockwell and the City Park in Swaledale, bound by scarves and clad in snow boots, to dig through the white fields for dozens of Easter eggs.

Meanwhile, in Meservey and Thornton, kids raced through the library aisles and perused through bookshelves to find their Easter treasures.
