Cerro Gordo County Primary Results

The results are in for Iowa’s Jun 5 primary election and, while some officials remained entirely uncontested, other contenders are shoving past one another in the race by a narrow margin.

Republican—Federal

Steve King, Republican Representative for District 4, was contested by contender Cyndi Hanson, but she missed the mark and scored only 30.75% of votes as opposed by King’s 69.02%.

Democratic—Federal

Three individuals in the Democratic party are competing for the position of District 4 Representative, but the results are by no means even. J.D. Scholten won the majority with just under two-thirds of the votes, with Leann Jacobsen tailing him at 30.83%. John Paschen brought up the rear with under ten percent of votes.
