Cerro Gordo County general election results

Election results are in for Cerro Gordo County, putting an end to the campaign season for another year.

For local county positions, the hottest race on the ballot was the six way contest for County Auditor.

Rockwell’s Adam Wedmore, a Democrat, won the race, receiving 41.84% of the vote, followed by Don O’Connor, a Republican, who received 34% of the vote. Four independent candidates also ran for the auditor position, led by Louie Bram with 8.71% of the vote and followed by Thomas Shovein (8.5%), Tina Cullinan (5.22%), and Dan Henaman (1.65%).
