Candidate profiles released for sheriff position

The names of the three candidates applying for the Franklin County Sheriff position have been released by the Franklin County Board of Supervisors.

Deputy Aaron Dodd has been serving the community since August of 2003.

Rick Rieken, a deputy for Franklin County since 2003, ran against the late Sheriff Linn Larson in the regular election of 2016. Rieken has also work for Franklin County Conservation since 2001.

Chief Deputy and Interim Sheriff Stephen Bardole has almost 18 years of experience with the sheriff’s department.

The board will announce the candidate chosen for the position this Monday, Jun 18.
